I live in Adelaide, South Australia, with my husband, two young children, two cats and puppy dog. Yep, it’s a mad house!
I’m a Senior Communications Expert with 10+ years experience in the media, communications and marketing world. I’ve gained valuable experience in various roles, with my most recent being a Senior Communications Advisor with the State Government where I led the social media strategy for one of South Australia’s largest infrastructure projects.
I have an eye for social media and love getting creative with a good ol’ strategy + content calendar. I’m a talented copywriter and have refined my skill of cutting through the noise and using words that actually have meaning. Sure, everyone can write, but trust me, not everyone can do it well.
I’m driven and hardworking, a perfectionist (which often works against me – cue, messy toddler!), and a strategic thinker. Plus, I’m genuinely passionate about helping others succeed in their goals and passions.
I’ve taken the big leap - leaving behind my corporate 9-5er to trust my intuition and start my own freelance biz. Why? Well, life suddenly had a different meaning after welcoming my babies into the world. So, here I am, trying to find some sort of balance between being a mum and a businesswoman.
As far as qualifications go, I have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, sub majoring in Creative Communications, from the University of South Australia (UniSA).
